August 14 – September 11: Artist Nagy István (1873 – 1937) studied painting in Cluj, Budapest, Munich and Paris and left behind an original body of work that escaped the temptations of the epoch trends. His melancholic, dark and unexpected images are displayed for one month inside the Museum of Art. Not to be missed by dedicated art lovers!

July 19 – August 12: Cluj hosts its first exhibition of military costumes during the 19th century, through the display of vintage photos and old official paintings. Either very simple or exquisitely made, the uniforms are sure to spark fascination in any viewer interested in military history and beyond.
The exhibition takes place at the Municipal House of Culture, Unirii Square no. 24.
July 20: Every summer, the Reformed Church organizes a series of classical music concerts inside its Gothic-style interior. Young and talented Teodora Carciumaru, an organist as well as music coordinator of the Sibiu Philharmonic gives a concert with music by Fr. Liszt, P. Hindemith, O. Messiaen and Marco Aurelio Coutinho.

July 7 – August 7: The Museum of Art invites photography lovers to its latest exhibition, entitled “Between Pictorialism and Avantgarde” by Polish artist Fortunata Obrąpalska.
The exhibition is organized in co-operation with The Regional Administration of Małopolska, The ”Walery Rzewuski” Museum of Photography History Kracow, The Polish Institute and the Polish Embassy in Bucharest.
